Key figure-oriented business management presupposes an integrated CPM system. In order to make the complete effects on the key figure system comprehensible, all of the planned events and events which have already taken place must be analyzed in an integrated system containing all interdependencies.
In OLCAP, these key figures are not more than additional objects that are completely linked to the overall object structure. In practice this means that
each planned measure, such as those on the sales planning level, can be analyzed and assessed with regard to its effects on highly condensed indicators, e.g. cash flow output ratio, equity turnover, etc. In other words, the desired development of a key figure immediately shows operationally
causal effects in operative planning.
